The People Behind Pax House
Community doesn’t happen automatically. At Pax House, it’s nurtured by a team that believes intentional environments – and the people who care for them – help students build meaningful relationships and a lasting sense of belonging.

As the Director of Menno Hall, she provides leadership to both our new student residence, Pax House, and to our community facility. In her role, Wanda works closely with staff, board members, and students to support residential life, provide clear frameworks for how the community lives and works, and shape the culture that guides daily community living.

Holly Bishu comes to Pax House after over a decade in youth ministry in both Canada and the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UBC and a Master of Arts in Christian Thought from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Using her academic and professional background, Holly is excited to help shape a community of young people, inspired by the way of Jesus. In her spare time, Holly loves to read and spend time in community.
